Hello! Welcome to my portfolio.

My name’s Sharon. I’m an interaction designer with a passion for information architecture and discussing context. I love drawing diagrams, investigating workflows and examining as many user perspectives as time allows. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s in Information Science. I have extensive experience in conducting user research and creating prototypes (of various levels of fidelity) for usability testing. I have worked on both web and software projects.

My current role: I’m currently a user experience designer and knowledge management specialist for DAU. In non-Department of Defense speak, that’s Defense Acquisition University. I’ve also spent a good chunk of time as a user experience designer for Northrop Grumman. For more details on those roles, please check out the pages linked below.
